Is this how Houdini started?

Alex came to me this morning with a piece of yarn and asked me to tie his hands behind his back.

Of course, I happiliy obliged.

I thougth I did a good job, too. That yarn was entwined around his wrists and then tied in a double knot, but somehow, when he disappeared into the dining room, he managed to get it undone.

I am so in for it.

I'm happy to report, however, that I remembered to turn down his request when he said, "okay, Mommy, now let me tie your hands behind your back..."
